Water`s Edge Cafe in Crisfield

10 minutes to be waited on. 19 minuets for a salad. Cup full of ice and little soda. Now I can't even Pay for my meal. Credit card reader not charged. 38 minutes later I left. Best experience ever!

Had the best crabcake and crab soup was so good! Lots of crab chunks and thick! And loved the corn fritters. Omg! Would go back!!

Great flounder sandwich, the flounder was twice as big as the bun it was on. Great crab cakes. Fast service and very friendly. We enjoy the food so much, we will drive there just to eat, we are 2 hours away and almost 100 miles, well worth the trip. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

The crab soup was outstanding. The fish was unbelievable, and the service was perfect. We sat nearest the bay, completely outstanding experience. We will visit again when we visit.

This place left me feeling very disappointed... it's a nice little diner right at the bay's edge (as the name implies), but the food and service was a little lackluster. The softshell crab sandwich was just deep-fried whole crab on white bread with a side of tartar sauce. No lettuce or tomato to be found. The crab itself was pretty flavorless, and you could tell it had been awhile since the oil in the fryer had been changed out. Don't think I'll be back... it's certainly not the worst place I've been to eat, but it's far, far below the best.

Chicken taste love like fish, scallops COVERED in Old Bay, NOT GOOD and artichoke dip was old tasting. I won't be going back.

We just moved here from Tennesse and the ist restaurant we tried was Waters Edge, awesome food, waiter was young and inexperienced but sweet as could be. We will be going back often, we live right down the street.

This place is now closed, taken over by Bubby's Wing Shack; Good place for the greatest chicken on the Eastern Shore!

Even in the winter, this place has great food. Highly recommended to anyone visiting or living in the area!

Ohhhh my gosh. Best food! Environment is so friendly, felt right at home. Menu has a mixture of American and Italian! All homemade and yummy. Service was wonderful. Greeted as i walked in and when leaving. Drink always refilled. Met the owners, so sweet. Seem to really care about customers. Highly recommend. 11/10 stars:)

Great burger and fries yesterday. Burger was large and juicy, fries were fresh cut. Food like your mother would make for you. Super friendly staff. Just order early for the lunch rush.

Ordered carry out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a large part and ordered several items. The food quality was mixedGood: wings, pizza, cheeseburgerOk: broiled crab cakeNot good: crab balls ,fried crab cake, corn nuggets,Terrible: French friesI'm not sure if their frier was having issues or what, but almost everything that we ordered fried was disappointing. The fries were especially bad.The place was clean and the view was amazing. Still as somewhat disappointing experience.

The food was so-so good.The people were great.Got to meet the owners,and man what a great couple they are.I felt right at home here.The cream of crab was out of this world.I am going to tell the people back at City Hall in Baltimore, about how great this place is.Again awesome just awesome. Before I left to go home I bought some of their famous stew tomatoes., man they are to die for.Thanks again to the outstanding friends at the Waters Edge Cafe.

No nonsense, delicious, fresh, fried seafood. The crab cake sandwich is spartan, but delicate, and the fried flounder sandwich was enormous. I would deduct points for the brusqueness of the waitstaff, but it was all a part of the coastal dining experience.

Wonderful home made food, great neighborhood atmosphere! Also, the best view of the water while dining. Quaint café is a winner! And, some of the best homemade desserts you will ever try.

How sad it is to see this place go so far downhill. They abruptly closed for awhile, as our waitress said, 'to open another restaurant'. We noticed they had reopened, and went for breakfast. What a mistake! At first no one even noticed we we're there, then after asking for my breakfast served without potatoes, there they were. Half a plate full. My husband didn't get any toast, even though he asked for it. Old slimy lemons on the tea, no butter for my toast, no creamer for hubby's refill of coffee ... and the prices went up. The waitress wasn't around to ask for anything, even when another couple came in, they waited awhile before she noticed them. Sad, we use to really enjoy the place. We won't be back.

For location on water I would have thought there would have been more seafood options. Fly problem. But overall nice place and ok food.

Sea food was fresh but basic presentation. Overall good. No draft beer some bottled but small selection. Family dinner style. Can get tables with water view.

Comfortable and relaxed chicken sandwich lunch with sweet iced tea. I was so thirsty, they gave me 2 extra refills no charge. I look forward to returning when I'm back in the area.plus friendly staff.

Good food with ample portions. Service was great. The server was attentive but didn't hover. I'll be back. Bring an appetite if you order the flounder sandwich.

Great place to eat. We ate there twice while in Crisfield. There are actually 3 restaurants right next to each other that are connected. Three different atmospheres to enjoy.

A nice place always clean. The food pretty good but the waitress could be a little more attentive.

Food was great, servers were friendly. The piece of flounder on my sandwich I think was the size of my face and absolutely delicious. Good view of the pier and water was neat as well.

Your basic home cooking. My slice of smith-island cake, although tasty, was too small for the price.

The food was excellent. Chef salad was large enough for 3 meals! Service was wonderful. I can't wait to eat there again! When in Crisfield this is a must eatery.

Off season visit, no Dr Pepper, No Pepsi, no crab soup...crab ball appetizers were good but very small, chilli tasted canned not home made

The people who work here are so sweet! How can the owners serve a sandwich that is the size of my fist...a $10 BLT! It consists of maybe 2 1/2 slices of bacon on a decent white toasted bread and it isn't bad. But it's small. And that's all you get.....if you want chips it's $1.50 extra. Don't expect a pickle, some slaw or hush puppies. Go to the food lion if you have a toaster and a microwave. It's a sad disgrace to put forth no respect on the plate for the price they charge. But, the people are nice and the place is clean and cute!

When I went my girlfriends and I came a little before 11am wanted breakfast. Was told not serving. After several minutes waitress returned said ok. We were s little disappointed by first response considering was a sit down restaurant. Not fast food. Also prices a little high. Waitress was great.

First time here, good food, good service and and a beautiful location

We we're very pleased with our experience overall. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was very clean and informal. The menu was varied and the prices were reasonable. Many vegetable options and all that we chose were fresh and delicious, especially the red skin mashed potatoes and the stewed tomatoes, which were more like a tomato pudding with cinnamon in it. We will be frequenting that restaurant more often, although it is a bit off the beaten path.
